Landroamer
Delete your account & data
This page explains how to delete your Landroamer account
(developer: Chris Sagherian, package io.landroamer.app) and
the data associated with it.
Delete your account from inside the app
The fastest way, and available to anyone with the app installed:
- Open Landroamer and make sure you're signed in.
- Go to the You tab, then open Settings.
- Scroll to Delete account and tap it.
- Confirm when prompted. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Once confirmed, your account and its data are removed right away — there's
no waiting period and no separate request to file.
No longer have the app installed?
Email ${SUPPORT_EMAIL}
from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We'll verify
ownership of the account and complete the deletion for you.
Please send from the email address you signed up with, so we can match
the request to your account.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes:
- Your profile — display name, username, avatar, rigs, and account settings.
- Your sign-in credentials, so the account can no longer be logged into.
-
Content you added that is tied to your account — including your run
logs, trail and comment photos, and saved campsite pins and their
photos.
- Your friend connections, saved trails, saved trips, and location shares.
What may be kept
A small amount of information is retained after deletion, either because
it no longer identifies you or because we're required to keep it:
-
Contributions that become part of the shared map — for example a public
trail or a trail-condition report — may remain, but are
anonymized and no longer linked to you.
-
Records we're legally or operationally required to retain (such as
transaction or fraud-prevention records) are kept only as long as
required, then removed.
Backups are purged on our provider's normal rotation, so residual copies
in backups clear within that window rather than instantly.
